20 years of designing, manufacturing, and selling enormous quantities of footed pajamas for adults and kids across the globe, has put me in a rare position of expertise.  I am the footed pajama expert.

There are some essential design elements that must be included for the ultimate footie pajamas for adults. The type of fabric, type of closures (zippers, snaps etc.), whether or not a trap door or ‘poop-chute’ is included in the seat, construction of the foot enclosure, and length of the torso, are all details that play key roles in creating a comfy onesie pj.

If any of these elements are ignored the result can potentially be disastrous.  A wardrobe malfunction in the worst sense…and don’t make me spell it out for you (think Bridesmaids movie, bridal shop scene).  While some people might not like the look of a trap door pajama, having an easily accessible, fully functioning trap door pajama is ‘da bomb’, especially if you suddenly have to drop one.  Sorry but the truth must be spoken!
